Habitat: Ponds, lakes, ditches and damp meadows
Special features: Marsh Marigolds, also known as King Cups, like to grow in shaded wet environments. The flowers, which appear in early spring, look like over-sized buttercups. The plant has thick, succulent stems, with rounded leaves which have a scalloped edge to them.
