Size: Up to 19mm
Distribution: Rare. Found in coastal counties in southern England
Months seen: All year round
Habitat: Found on bushes and trees - often in woodland
Food: Small invertebrates
Special features: Angular Orbweb Spiders have a dark brown carapace which is covered with grey-white hair. The abdomen has an oak leaf pattern on the top, but the most distinctive features are the two horn-like projections which are called 'tubercles'. The legs are pale brown with darker bands.
